About Evergreen Forest

Welcome to Evergreen Forest Elementary!

We are an elementary school serving kindergarten through 5th grade in Lacey, WA. Our mission is to create a positive learning environment, and we are success-oriented, productive, organized, supportive, safe, and we strive to meet the individual and diverse needs of our students, staff, and community. Bobcats are always growing, learning, achieving, and dreaming!

Goals & School Improvement Plan

Academic Gap Goal

By June 2025, we will close the kindergarten through 5th grade overall reading achievement gap for students who qualify for special education services and those who do not by decreasing the low-risk reading gap on the easyCBM by 10% to 23%.

Behavioral or Social-Emotional Gap Goal

Regular attendance rates for our low-income identified students will improve from 24% in quarter 3 of 2023-24 to 31% in quarter 3 of 2024-25.

Building History

Evergreen Forest Elementary was built in 1978 on 10.3 acres. It is located at 3025 Marvin Road SE in Lacey.

  • In 1981-82, additions to the school were built.
  • In 2000, the building received partial modernization upgrades.
  • In 2016, the school underwent a full modernization, adding 11 classrooms, relocating the office, and remodeling all spaces throughout the building.
